Nanno seconds after I hit send, Bernie Miklasz, columnist for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch who is generally the MOST conservative (read: slowest) to report news is reporting "good news" on the Painter front. Allegedly Alden got the call and Painter accepted. Might be introduced to Mizzou Nation next Thursday at the Cards home opener at Busch. Stay tuned. Needless to say...lots of updates from me today.
